Today’s share is a baby card I made for my dear friend Elaine who, like me became a grandmother! Her daughter Liz welcomed a baby boy to our world on February 1.
For this card I cut a:
10″ x 7″ piece of Chocolate Chip Card Stock and scored it at 5″, so, you have a 5″ x 7″ card base.
4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla and
4″ x 6″ piece of Pool Party
On a 4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the Two by Two stamp in Basic Black Ink and colored it with Watercolor
Pencils. I then ran this Very Vanilla piece through the BIG Shot with the Floral Framelits Die. On the portholes of the ark I placed three White Brads. I then adhered the Very Vanilla to the Pool Party Card Stock. I ran the piece of Pool Party Card Stock through the BIG Shot with the Chevron Embossing Folder about three quarters of the way up, making sure I included the bottom part of the ark image. I did this to resemble waves.
To finish off the card I wrapped a Chocolate Chip bow around the bottom and place two buttons from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack. This pack is FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order.
