With My Whole Heart: Cupid Valentine’s Day Card

Cupid Card Header

Welcome Back!

For the second heart project I’m featuring a vintage looking Valentine’s Day card.  When you think of Valentine’s Day symbols, who doesn’t think of cupid??? For me this is the type of card I think about for Valentine’s Day; hearts and cupid himself!

Cupid Card 1

The card base for this card was an 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of Real Red Card Stock cut in half and scored at 4-1/4″. The Whisper White piece was cut at 5″ x 3-3/4″ and embossed with the Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder. Cupid was cut from an old die I have ⎨sorry not Stampin’ Up!⎬, You can find many of pre-cut cupids, in all sizes at your local craft store or party supply store.

The heart stamp used, is the limited Stampin’ Up! offer, Flowerfull Heart and was stamped in Real Red Ink and punched out with the Heart Punch.

Cupid Heart Detail 2

For Cupid’s little nosegay, the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Medley stamp set was used.  Again Real Red Ink was used and the 3/4″ and 1-1/4″ Circle Punches did their magic in punching out perfect circles! A piece of Real Red Taffeta Ribbon was wrapped around Cupid’s wrist. The other end was adhered to the circle nosegay. The, “Be Mine” was secured with a Dimensional.

The four corner red ❤❤❤❤ ‘s were punched using the from the Owl Builder Punch.

Thanks for stopping by again.  Be sure to check out tomorrow’s, “With All My Heart” project. And, remember to sleep, eat, stamp and create!

As usual, hugs,

Diane Caro, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
