A quick post to show you the cards I made for my Granddaughter Adeline and Grandson Jackson. Today’s share is Kate the Bunny and this card was made for Addie. It’s pretty straight forward. If you love to color than this is the card for you. Please note this isn’t a Stampin’ Up! stamp.
For the card base a 10″ x 7″ piece of Whisper White was cut and scored at 5″.
A 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4” piece of Melon Mambo was cut for the first layer.
A 4″ x 6″ piece of Smokey Slate was cut for the next layer.
For the top layer a 3-3/4″ x 5-3/4″ piece of Whisper White was cut and used for the stamped image.
STAMPING:
On the top layer of Whisper White, Kate the Bunny was stamped on Basic Black Ink.
Then on a piece of Designer Series paper the jacket and head band were stamped on Basic Black Ink.
COLORING:
Colored pencils were used to color in Kate. Gray was used for her body and pink for her dress, cheeks and ear highlights.
FINISHING:
Once the coloring was done, the stamped jacket and headband was cut out and adhered as shown. Isn’t she adorable?
