2016 Valendar Dec HeaderHere we are in December-our last month of our 2016 calendar is upon us. I hope you’ve enjoyed this calendar making journey with me. If you want to make a few of these alendars and leave the calendars off for 2017 calendars that will be available sometime in the Fall I believe. You can go to SKY BLUE PINK and find out.

DECEMBER Calendar 2016

STAMP SET:
The Newborn King

 

CARD STOCK:
Lost Lagoon (5″ x 7-1/2″)
Night of Navy (3″ x 3-1/2″) & (3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″)
Very Vanilla (5-1/2″ x 4-1/2″) & a scrap piece

 

INK:
Night of Navy, Memento

 

OTHER:
Multi-Purpose Glue or SNAIL, Chalk Marker, Blendabilities-Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive, Colored Pencils, Silver Dazzle Marker, Holiday Ornament Framelits, Big Shot Apothecary Accents Framelits Sponge Dauber

2016 Calendar Dev Detail

1. Ink up the The Newborn King in Memento Ink and stamp it on the Very Vanilla. You only need the part of the stamp with the manger.
2. Color in the manger and the surrounding sky with a combination of Blendabilities and colored pencils.
3. Line up the stamped manger with one ornament from the Holiday Ornament Framelits and run it through the BIG Shot.
4. With the Silver Dazzle Marker, color the top of the ornament cap
5. On the scrap pieve of the Very Vanilla stamp Glory to the Newborn King in Night of Navy Ink
6. Run the greeting through the BIG Shot with the Apothecary Framelits squarish die. It’s a tight fit, but it works.
7. Distress the edges of the ornament and greeting with a Sponge Dauber and Night of Navy Ink
8. Adhere the ornament and greeting on the 3″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Night of Navy card stock
9. On the background of the Night of Navy card stock make snowflakes/stars with the Chalk Marker.
10. Adhere the December calendar on the 3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Night of Navy.
11. Distress the edges of both pieces of Night of Navy card stock with a Sponge Dauber and Night of Navy Ink
12. Line up the two pieces and adhere them to the Lost Lagoon card stock

2016 Calendar Nov HeaderNovember holds one of my favorite holidays-Thanksgiving.  I love the celebration of a meal with loved ones,  all the colors associated with Autumn; on the brink of Winter and the mindful gratitude. I think this stamp Tweet Leaves, in all it’s simplicity and sweetness says it all.

Multi-Purpose Glue or SNAIL, 2014-2016 In-Color Markers, Sponge Dauber

2016 Calendar Nov Detail
1. Ink up the Tweet Leaves stamp using the In-Color Markers. Huff on the inked stamp before stamping onto the 3″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla
2. Stamp the greeting “So Thankful” in Blackberry Bliss Ink and stamp it in the bottom right hand corner of the Very Vanilla or where ever it comfortably fits.
3. On the 3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Very Vanilla adhere the November Calendar
4. Distress all edges of the two pieces of Very Vanilla with a Sponge Dauber and Tangelo Twist Ink
5. On the Hello Honey card stock stamp the leaf image from the Four Seasons stamp set randomly in Tangelo Twist Ink.
6. Center and adhere the two pieces of Very Vanilla card stock onto the Hello Honey.
