Clipboard Calendar: July 2016

2016 Calendar July HeaderNo mistake about what the month of July brings…the Red, White and Blue celebration better know as the Fourth of July! If you scrapbook any of these calendars can be incorporated on your scrapbook pages simply by adding your peronal photographs to them.

2016 Calendar July

JULY Calendar 2016


Night of Navy (5″ x 7-1/2″)
Real Red (3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″) & 1/4″ strips
Whisper White (4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″)
Maritime DSP (1/4″ strips)
Silver Glimmer Paper (1/4″ strips)


Multi-Purpose Glue or SNAIL, Adhesive Sheet, Star Framelits, Big Shot & White Gel Pen
6″ x 9″ Clipboard from dollar store

2016 Calendar July Detail
1. Cut a 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ square from an Adhesive Sheet, peel one side and adhere it to the 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ square of Whisper White card stock.
2. Run the Whisper White square through the Big Shot with the Star Framelits and cut out the 4″ star.
3. Peel the other side of the Adhesive Sheet and start layering the 1/4″ strips of Maritime DSP, Real Red card stock and Silver Glimmer paper in a red, white & blue pattern.
4. Adhere the July calendar to the 3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Real Red card stock.
5. Center both the star and calendar on the Night of Navy and adhere.

6.  On the Night of Navy background make some confttis strips and add some white dot using a White Gel Pen.

2016 Calendar Mar HeaderThis 2016 March Calendar will be the easiest to make and assemble.  Go through some magazines or computer generate Irish copyright free images and arrange them in a collage. You could in fact do this to all of the months of the year by simply using images appropriate for that month.

Gumball Green (5″ x 7-1/2″)
Very Vanilla (3-1/2″ x 6″)

Multi-Purpose Glue or SNAIL
6″ x 9″ Clipboard from dollar store

2016 Calendar Detail Mar

1. Cut out the images.
2. Adhere the calendar towards the bottom of the Very Vanilla
3. Assemble the images in a pleasing collage

Clipboard Calendar: February 2016

2016 Calendar Feb HeaderAnd, here’s February 2016. I used blendabilities to coler this Partridge in a Pear Tree, which are no longer available, but you can use colored pencils or markers as well. This is a retired stamp set, but any set with trees will work. Just add a few punched out hearts.

FEBRUARY Calendar 2016

Partridge in a Pear Tree

Whisper White (5″ x 7-1/2″) & (4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″)
Real Red (3-1/2″ x 3″) & (4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″) & scraps
Strawberry Slush scraps


Multi-Purpose Glue, Blendabilities, or other coloring markers or pencils
Heart Collection Framelits,
Itty Bitty Heart Punch,
6″ x 9″ Clipboard from dollar store

2016 Calendar Feb Detail

1. Ink up using Memento Ink, the Partridge in a Pear Tree and stamp it onto   the 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock.
2. Color it in using the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Blendabilities or markers
3. Once colored cut out the pear tree
4. Using the 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Real Red and the Heart Collection Framelits run the card stock through the BIG Shot with the largest heart die.
5. With the Itty Bitty Punch, punch out 7 or so hearts from the Real Red & Strawberry Slush scrapes.
6. Adhere the pear tree on the large Real Red heart and place three of the small hearts over the pears.
7. Adhere the February calendar onto the 3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Real Red.
8. Adhere the heart above the calendar lining them up in the middle of the 5″ x 7-1/2″ piece of Whisper White card stock.
9. Adhere a few of the small hearts below the pear tree.

2016 Calendar Jan HeaderFor the next twelve weekdays, I’m going to share with you all my 2016 Clipboard Calendar. We made this  calendar last year at my Calendar  workshop last year. I up-dated it by adding the 2016 calendar.  You can got to my archives to see calendars made in the past for more ideas.  You can also trim down the base card stock to 5″ x 7″ and place it in a 5″ x 7″ acrylic frame where it can sit on a desk or tabletop.  To order these small 2016 Calendar Pads CLICK HERE

White Christmas

Whisper White (5″ x 7-1/2″)
Pool Party (3-1/2″ x 3″) & (3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″)


Chalk Marker, Multi-Purpose Glue
6″ x 9″ Clipboard from dollar store

2016 Calendar Jan Detail

1. Stamp the trees from the White Christmas stamp set in Memento Ink onto the 3-1/2″ x 3″ piece of Pool Party

2. Fussy cut the bottom of the hill part off

3. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock stamp the polar bear with Memento Ink, cut him out & adhere him to the stamped tree image

4. Color in the trees with a Chalk Marker to resemble birch trees

5. Adhere the January calendar to the 3-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Pool Party

6. Place and adhere the two pieces of Pool Party as shown making sure the 3-1/2″   sides line up and what was cut off the tree image looks like a hill of snow.
