Stampin’ Up!: Tea Shoppe Birthday Card

Hello, Stampers!

Today I wanted to share with you a birthday card I made using the Stampin’ Up! Tea Shoppe Stamp Set.  I made this card for my long time girlfriend, Carol, whose birthday was on March 31. I had the card already photographed and in the envelope ready to send to her on the dining room table, when we had our house fire. Well, here it is Carol and I owe you one!

Recipe for this card:Stampin Up Framelits Labels Collection, Tea Shoppe Stamp Set

First, take a 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Certainly Celery Card Stock and score it at 5-1/2″. Place the scored sheet in your BIG Shot with the largest label from the Framelits Collection lining the top tip along the scored edge, as shown here.

Again, using the Framelits Labels Collection, cut the next to the largest label in the Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper and the next smallest label in Whisper White.

Distress the edges of the Certainly Celery and Whisper White with Certainly Celery Ink and a Sponge Dauber.

On a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, stamp the teacup from the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set in VersMark Ink and heat emboss it, using Gold Embossing Powder. Carefully cut out the teacup and with Markers color in the white flower and stem areas.  On the distressed Whisper White piece, stamp some of the flowers above where the teacup will be adhered, so that the flowers look as though they’re in the teacup.

Here are the parts of the Tea Shoppe Birthday Card with a bow made out of Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon:
