I have to truly say I’m loving this Stampin’ Up! Snow Much Fun stamp set. Last week I featured the tall snowman on a card and today I’m using the “Portly” snowman to create a country homespun feel. Just by changing colors you can create a totally different feeling to your projects. Keep that in mind and with the economy the way it is, it’s nice to know that one stamp set will go a long way.
Cherry Cobbler 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Scored at 4-1/4″
Crumb Cake 5″ x 3-3/4″
Very Vanilla 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
On the Very Vanilla stamp the “Portly” snowman in Early Espresso Ink. Stamp him a bit to the left side of the card.
Color the snowman in with Watercolor Markers.
Stamp the snowman’s boots on a piece of Designer Series Paper, cut them out and with Tombow Glue adhere them.
On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla stamp the snowball and bird, color this image and cut it out.
On the background of the Very Vanilla, take a Crumb Cake Marker and make snowflakes by making a cross the
m an “x”. On the bottom of the Very Vanilla add a few snow hills.
Add Dazzling Details to the snowman’s hat brim and to the snow hills. Place it aside to dry.
On a scrap piece of Cherry Cobbler stamp, “Merry Christmas” from the Petite Pairs stamp set in VersaMark. Sprinkle the “Merry Christmas” with White Embossing Powder and heat with a Heat Tool. Cut out with the Large Oval Punch.
Adhere the Very Vanilla stamped card stock to the Crumb Cake. On the left hand side wrap a piece of Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and use Glue Dots to hold it down. Around the ribbon tie a simple square knot and trim the ends.
Adhere all your layers together.
With a Dimensional, place the cut out snowball in the snowman’s hand.
Isn’t this card adorable and, “Snow Much Fun?”
