Santa’s Sleigh: Framed Art

This is an exquisite gift to make for some people on your Christmas list or to use as a hostess gift or party favor.  You stil have time to put these together, provided you have the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits and a frame from your local craft or dollar store.

Sweet Sugarplum 5″ x 7″

Whisper White 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″

Pool Party 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″

Using the BIG Shot and the Santa’s Sleigh Thinkits:

Cut the Tree from Pink Glitter Paper 5″ x 3″

Cut the Sleigh from White Glitter Paper 5″ x 4″ and Silver Metallic 5″ x 3″

Cut the Deer from Playful Palette 4″ x 4″

Cut the Deer Bow from White Glitter Paper 1″ x 1″

When all the parts are cut, run the piece of Pool Party through the BIG Shot with the  Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

Adhere all the layers together and glue the sleigh, tree and deer as shown. Cut a 1-1/2″ piece of thick Bakers Twine to use as the deer reins.

Use a Basic Rhinestone for the deer’s eye.

The colors used for this project scream Winter and aren’t the typical red and green that are usually used. I love the Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White and Pool Party are really beautiful together, Don’t you agree?

Thanks for stopping by.  I have a lot to share with you in the new year. Lots of ideas swirling around in my head, so keep your fingers crossed that I can get them out of my head and turn them into projects. See you soon.
