Post-it Note Pad Holder

This project can be whipped up on no time at all. No, I’m not talking about cupcakes here, I’m talking about our favorite little Post-It Notes! If you’re like me you have them stuck all over your computer, kitchen and where ever else the little notes will stick! Since we all use Post-It’s, here’s a perfect little gift to make as a party favor, for your favorite co-workers or teachers. These are wonderful to use all those designer series paper scraps!!

Let’s get started on how to make this little cutie:

Cut a 3″ x 9″ piece of card stock. I used Pear Pizzazz. Score it at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 2-3/4″, 5-3/4″ and 6″.

Use a Bone Folder along scored lines to get a crisp clean folds. Note the photo has the 6″ scored line furthest to the left and shows Garden Green card stock.

Now cut two 2-3/4″ squares and one 1″ x 2-3/4″ pieces of any Designer Series Paper. Try to match it to the color of your Post-It Note Pad and card stock. Below is how you adhere them to the outside..

Look at the second photo for inside tape placement. Once your tape is down affix your Post-It Note Pad and fold the flap up and push it along the other piece of tape. Here’s a side view with everything in place.

Add a Velcro dot on the flap, to hold the Post-It Note Holder closed. I purchased inexpensive Velcro dots from the dollar store, which turned out to be too thick. Do yourself a favor spend a little more money on the real ones. That’s what I wound up doing in the end.

These would make great Mother’s Day gifts and end of the year teacher’s gifts.

Post-It hugs,
