This is one of the cards we made at Saturday’s Easter/Spring class. Yes, there are Pink Daffodils as I have them growing in my garden. As soon as they bloom I will take a picture to show them to you.
All products are from Stampin’ Up! This card was created by stamping the daffodil image from Abundant Hope Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink onto a piece of Watercolor Paper. It was cut using the Big Shot and scallop nesting dies. I colored the daffodils using Markers and Watercolor Pencils. Along the edge, in each scallop I pierced holes with my Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack. I then cut another larger scallop oval out of Blush Blossom Card Stock and along the edge using a Sponge Dauber and Pretty-in-Pink Ink I sponged the edge. I cut a piece of 3-3/4″ x 5″ Old Olive Card Stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Textured Plate. On a scrap piece of Watercolor Paper I stamped “Easter Blessings” from the Abundant Hope Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink, cut it out with the Modern Label Punch and, again, using Pretty-in-Pink Ink I sponged the edge. I made a small bow with the Pretty-in-Pink Taffeta Ribbon. I layered the card as shown above onto a 5-1/2 x 4-14″ card made from Pretty-in-Pink Card Stock. Before I adhered the Old Olive Card Stock I placed four Pretty-in-Pink Brads in each corner.
