Here’s a card I made to send to a new friend I’ve never met, who lost her dear cat, Ben. I chose the Peace Within stamp set for obvious reasons; the cat sleeping peacefully on the casual Adirondack chair.
I cut:
Pacific Point Card Stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored @ 4-1/4″
Very Vanilla Card Stock: 3-3/4″ x 5″
3-1/2 x 3-1/2″
Peach Parfait Card Stock: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
On the 3-1/2″ square piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the cat and Adironack chair image in Black Stazon Ink. I used a combination Markers and Watercolor Pencils to color in the image.
I layered everything as shown and wrapped a piece of Pacific Point Stripped Ribbon around the Very Vanilla and Peach Parfait layers.
On a strip of Very Vanilla I stamped, “Peace within makes beauty without,” in Pacific Point Ink.
RIP Ben..
