Patch-Work Heart…

Hi Lakeside Stamper Friends!

Here’s one last Valentine’s Day Idea. You can even do these tonight in time for tomorrow.

Step 1:
Lakeside Stamper Patch-Work Heart Step 1 Draw a heart shape and divide in into 1-inch squares or other random shapes. I started at the top center, and using a ruler, I drew two diagonal lines on each side. I then measured 1-inch from each line and drew another line. You really can divide the heart up in any way you’d like.

Lakeside Stamper Patch-Work Heart Step 2 STEP 2: From Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, I punched eight, 1-inch squares. Using my template as a guide, I adhered the 1-inch squares right over my drawing to use as a base. If you don’t want to hand draw each heart, copy the original for multiple hearts or future use.

Step 3:

For the last step, I carefully cut around the outer edge of the heart. For a fast and fun project I’m happy with the result.

Remember, you can use any color combination.  Choose shades of Whisper White and Blushing Bride for a wedding card or pastels or brights for baby cards. Change the size of the heart, string into a garland  and personalize for special occasions.
