Papillion Potpourri Birthday Card

Back on October 2 it was my cousin Linda’s birthday.  This is the card I made for her birthday celebration!

I love the butterflies in the Papillion Potpourri Stamp Set. I stamped the butterflies beginning with the largest and inking my way to the smallest in rainbow colors of Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Tempting Turquoise and Wisteria Wonder. Once they were stamped on Whisper White Card Stock I cut each butterfly out.  I then cut 1″ strips of matching Card Stock to layer behind the butterflies. Across the top I adhered a piece of Whisper White Card Stock after I scalloped one edge with the Scallop Punch. On this strip I stamped the small flower from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set in the corresponding strip color. In the center of each flower I added a Basic Pearl. The birthday greeting from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set was inked in Wisteria Wonder. Once the butterflies were adhered in a pleasing manner, I then embellished some with Basic Pearls as well.
