Painted Blooms: Window Card

Today’s share is the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper card number two. I’m calling this a Window Card, because the Painted Blooms DSP was cut into four rectangles and when affixed together they resemble window panes. This card has no sentiment on the front, but any sentiment or note can be added on the inside of the card. Again, if you cut up both the sheets, make two of these. Switch up the colors if you’d like.painted bloom one sheet finalTo make the cards, you first have to cut the sheet of the Painted Blooms designer paper into 4″ x 6″ pieces. Some of these will need to be trimmed down, depending on the card you’re making. But this is where it all begins.

Painted Bloom One Sheet WonderThis is an all occasion card for whatever celebration or reason you might need a card. This card was made from the bottom middle section.

Painted Bloom Window PaneStart with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Whisper White card stock scored at 4-1/4″.

Cut a 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock.

Trim down the 4″ x 6″ piece of the Painted Blooms DSP to 3-1/2″ (along the width) and 4-3/4″ (along the height). Cut this piece in half both ways at 1-3/4″ (W) x 2-3/4″(H)

Adhere the four panes on to the piece of Blackberry Bliss leaving 1/4″ around the outer edge and 1/8″ in between the panes.

With Dimensionals, layer the Blackberry Bliss on to the Whisper White card base.

Voila, you’re done! Make sure to check back tomorrow for another Painted Blooms one sheet wonder card.
