So, here you have it the grand two card finale using one sheet from the terrific Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. One of these cards is a birthday and the other can be used for any occasion. It’s hard to believe that all the cards featured this week were from one 12″ x 12″ sheet and they all look like they were hand-painted, just like the name of the designer series paper, “Painted Blooms!”
To make the cards, you first have to cut the sheet of the Painted Blooms designer paper into 4″ x 6″ pieces. Some of these will need to be trimmed down, depending on the card you’re making. But this is where it all begins.
This “Happy Birthday” card uses the bottom left corner piece of the Painted Blooms DSP.
Cut an A-2 card base from Mossy Meadow card stock at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score it at 4-1/4″
Cut down the piece of Painted Blooms to 5″ x 3-3/4″.
Cut a 1” x 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White and adhere it to the Painted Blooms DSP along the bottom edge.
Ink up the “Happy Birthday” from the And Many More stamp set in Mossy Meadow and stamp the sentiment on to the Whisper White strip..
Wrap a piece of Mossy Meadow Ribbon around the seam of the Whisper White card stock and the DSP.
Affix the DSP layer on to the Mossy Meadow card stock.
Finish the card off with a beautiful Mossy Meadows bow.
Now for the second and last card made from, yes, one 12″ x 12″ sheet! This sheet is sort like the ever-ready bunny if you ask me.
This card is sweet and simple and is from the bottom right hand corner of the Painted Blooms sheet.
Cut an A-2 card base from Pool Party card stock at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and score it at 4-1/4″
Cut down the piece of Painted Blooms to 5″ x 3-3/4″.
Wrap a piece of Pool Party Ribbon aroind the DSP layer and adhere it to the Pool Party card base.
Make a five loop bow and affix it to the card with a Glue Dot
And, there you have it~six cards from one 12′”x 12″ sheet of the Painted Blooms DSP. I hope you enjoyed stopping by this week!
