I’ve been doing classes and workshops for a long time and I have to tell you my Operation Write Home Event yesterday was one of the nicest and most memorable. Twelve ladies gave up their Sunday afternoon to come out in the cold to make cards for our troops in Afghanistan. It was truly heart-warming. This week I’ll feature photos of the cards and of the event.
The ladies of the day. (I’m the short one!)
This is where it all began, my messy desk!

The end result…
These are the thank you gifts I made for all the ladies,
only due to my short term memory I forgot to hand them out!
These are flower pots filled with a packet of forget-me-not seeds.
Every time they looked at their forget-me-nots, they would remember our troops.
Too bad I didn’t forget-me-not!
Thanks for stopping by. Check back this week for the OWH project details.
Hugs,
Not sure who to thank but my husband just sent 3 beautiful cards home to myself and our 2 girls. They were stamped Operation Write Home. We were so happy to get a card from him and even happier to see the love that was put into the hand made donated card. Please know that your small craft has touched three people today. Thanks for what you do!
No need to thank me. It’s a small token on my part please thank your husband for all of us at home here. And a very special thank you to you and your girls.
Blessings to all of you
