Meg’s Birthday Cards…

These are the birthday cards I made for my daughter Meg.

For the first one I did the following:

I cut a piece of  5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Pixie Pink Card Stock  and scored it at 4-1/4″, a piece of 5″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White Card Stock, a piece of 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ Green Galore Card Stock and last a piece of 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ of Whisper White Card Stock. I centered using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig and stamped the cupcake tier from the Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set in Basic Black Ink. I colored the cupcakes with my Stampin’ Up! Markers. For the frosting on the cupcakes I painted them with the new Shimmer Frost White Ink and an Aqua Painter. After coloring in the cherries I carefully placed a drop of Crystal Effects on each one. I stamped the greeting from the Birthday Bliss Stamp Set in Basic Black Ink on Whisper White Card Stock  and punched it out with the 1″ Square Punch. With my Square Scallop Punch I punched a square out of Pixie Pink Card Stock. I wrapped a piece of Black Gingham Ribbon around the 4-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock and layered everything together.

This is an enlargement of the Shimmer Frost White Ink cupcakes:

This is the second card I made. I actually made it fro scraps of Retired Designer Series Paper I had in my scrap box. The stamp set I used is All Wrapped Up Stamp Set (retired). This one I posted just for eye candy without giving a lot of detail. Gotta go and thanks for visiting!
