For May of course I did May Flowers. Again I ripped some scraps of DSP to make dirt and grass. I think ripped paper adds a certain dimension.
RECIPE:
Stamp Sets: Bloomin’ with Love
Dear Friend
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White (8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″) and ( 7″ x 2-1/4″)
Almost Amethyst ( 8″ x 8″)
So Saffron scraps for photo corners
Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery DSP scraps
Accessories: Brads, Water-Color Pencils, Photo Corner Punch
HERE’S WHAT I DID:
Using the Dear Friend flowers I stamped them in Basic Black to either side of the Whisper White 7″ x 2-1/4″ strip of card stock. In the middle I stamped in Basic Black the wheelbarrow from Bloomin’ with Love and added flowers inside of it With Watercolor Pencils I colored everything in. then I ripped some Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery DSP to resemble dirt and grass and adhered it to the bottom. I placed a brad on the wheel of the wheelbarrow. I punched out four sets of the Photo Corners in So Saffron so all the corners were the same size. Then I assembled all the pieces as shown, colored in the sky and stamped the flower pot on, May 10, “Mother’s Day.”
