Hello Lakeside Readers, Stampers, Scrap-Bookers and Paper-Crafters! (I think that covers all of us)
I’m going to share with you my three favorite projects of 2010. The first one Is a card I made back in February. It’s perfect for this time of the year with Valentin’s Day closer then you think.
I call this card “THREE HEARTS & A BIRD”, for obvious reasons.
For the saying on this card I stamped “Heartfelt Thanks”from the Sweetheart Stamp Set, because I needed a thank you card. In the class we stamped “Love”from the Wonderful Words Stamp Set (retired). Both were embossed with White Embossing Powder.
Because I love the Two-Step Bird Punch and the Scalloped Heart to Heart Embosslit so much I decided to make another card using them.
For this card I cut pieces of:
Real Red Card Stock (10″ x &” and scored it at 5″) and
two (3″ x 3″) squares
Blush Blossom Card Stock (4-1/2″ x ^-1/2″),
Regal Rose Card Stock (3″ x 3″)
I punched the Two-Step Bird out of Real Red Card Stock and with The Big Shot and the Scalloped Heart to Heart Embosslit Die I cut two hearts from Regal Rose Card Stock and one from Real Red Card Stock. I used 5/8″ Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon and Hodgepodge Hardware to complete the card with the perfect touches.
I’d love to hear from you in the comment section if you have a favorite project as well. Tomorrow I’ll share another and on Thursday the last one. Oh, by the way ladies I screwed up. 2011 isn’t a Leap Year, next year is. I guess I just got too excited.
Thanks for re-visiting!
