For the month of June we celebrate the men in our lives whether they are Fathers, Grandfathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers, Son-in-laws or Uncles we honor them in June. This is not a complicated month to put together.
RECIPE
Stamp Sets: Thoughts of Father
Itty-Bitty Buds
Inks: Basic Black
Baja Breeze
Paper: Whisper White (8-1/2″x8-1/2″) not needed if using the back of May
Basic Grey CS (8″ x 8″)
Baja Breeze CS (7″ x 2-1/4″)
Basic Black CS scrap
Accessories: Watercolor Pencils, Basic Black, 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon, 5 Silver Brads, Photo Corner Punch, Glue Dots
HERE”S WHAT I DID:
On the Baja Breeze Card Stock I stamped a geometric looking flower from the Itty-Bitty stamp set. The geometric flower isn’t too feminine and just looks like a background once stamped. Then on the scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock I stamped in Basic Black the car from Thoughts of Father. I colored the image in using Watercolor Pencils and cut it out. I put the Baja Breeze and calendar together, wrapped a 9″ piece of the Basic Black Ribbon around the seam using Glue Dots and with another 3″ piece of ribbon I tied a knot. To the corners I added four Photo Corners and four brads. Using Snail adhesive I adhered the car in the center of the Baja Breeze. To May 21, “Father’s Day”, on the calendar, I stamped a small compass I had but, anything manly will do!
