helping-me-grow

This Helping Me Grow stamp set is great for watercoloring. The flowers provide a great outline for watercoloring with and Aqua Painter and puddles of ink on you Ink Pads. This is a pretty simple and straight forward card to make. So let’s get started…

The card base is a 7″ x 10″ piece of Whisper White scored at 5″

4″ x 6″  piece of Watercolor Paper

Cut a 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Dapper Denim

Stamp the “Happy Birthday” in Pear Pizzazz in the upper left hand corner of the 4″ x 6″ Whisper White layer.

Next stamp the Flower stamp in Black StazOn Ink. Let it dry.

Take a Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride Ink Pads and squeeze the pads so that puddles of ink form on the insde cover.

With an Aqua Painter pick up a bit of Melon Mambo and start coloring the flowers in. Start in the middle of the flower and pull the color toward the flower edges. Leave the tips for the Blushing Bride.

When you’re happy with the flowers color in the stems with Pear Pizzazz Ink. Take some Pear Pizzazz Ink dry brush the background of the flowers.

Adhere the card layers as shown once the water-coloring layer is dry. And, voile you’re done!

Stop by again soon.
