Afternoon Tea Birthday Party Invitation…

Good morning Stampers!

This is an invitation I made for Donna from New Orleans. Donna’s turning a very special number this year and is celebrating her birthday with an afternoon tea birthday party.  When Donna ordered her birthday invitations she told me her favorite color was pink. This is the femine card I came up with for her big celebration.

Afternoon Tea Invitation

This photo was taken before I added Gold Smooch to the teacup’s rim and saucer.  And, off course, I used Pretty-in-Pink Card Stock. On the Pretty-In-Pink I stamped the motif image from the Rustic Rooster  Stamp Set in Versa Mark and embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I used Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, and two rhinestones to complete the card.

Practice Teacup Detail

For the teacup I used the Timeless Treasures Stamp Set and blew up the image, hand-cut and hand-colored each teacup with Watercolor Pencils. Here’s a picture of the practice teacup I did. Keep in mind this was only a practice one and the real teacups on the invitations were done more neatly. But I think you can get a feeling for how the Gold Smooch looked.

If you or anyone needs invitations, EMAIL ME, for information, while I work on getting my Invitation Page finished.

Thanks for stopping by and check out my “ARTrageous” Kids Camp Information by clicking on the button in my sidebar. I’m so very excited to be sharing part of the summer with your children.

Stampin’ Hugs,
