Designer Cuts: Stained Glass Anniversary Card

Good Day Stampers!

Here's a fun technique called the "Stain Glass Technique."  I did not invent this technique, Patty Bennett, a fellow stamper did a tutorial on it. I couldn't pass it up and had to share this with everyone at my last class This is an easy  technique and the results really are magnificent. See if you agree?

The wonderful part of this card is it comes pre-cut with that beautifully intricate design. The Designer Cuts (125414) comes with Eight Cards in two different designs and Eight Blushing Bride Envelopes. This is featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

To make this card you'll need:

A 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Vellum Paper (101839)

Markers (119806)

Basic Pearls (119249)

And whatever stamp set you want to relay your sentiment.  I used the Stampin' Up! Something to Celebrate Stamp Set (121897) and Baja Breeze Ink (119668).

Adhere your piece of vellum to the inside of the front over the heart cut Stampin' Up! Designer Cuts Stained Glass Techniqueout and begin coloring. For the coloring you don't even have to stay inside the lines!

This is the inside.

When you look at the card from the front the cut outs makes it seem like you colored it perfectly!

On the inside, over the Vellum, adhere a 5-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock

Add some Basic Pearls or Rhinestones and any sentiment you want; or not.

Have fun with this technique and remember to get your Sale-A-Bration order in, because there's only 5 days left, until it's over!

I'm placing an order on Saturday, March 31. If you'd like to add your order to mine EMAIL ME.

As ever Stampin' Hugs,

Diane Caro, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
