Here in Mohegan Lake, New York, we celebrated World Card Making Day a week late. Never the less fun was had by all who attended. Here are a few pictures I’d like to share with you. All the projects featured this week and part of next week are projects we all made at the World Card Making Event. I might add that the ladies who attendee are the best family and friends a Lakeside Stamper can have.
Here are my Lakeside Stamper Ladies creating at full throttle…
Alice, our senor stamper. Alice loves not only the stamping and social aspect, but Alice loves the food…
Aly, my Goddaughter. Always with a flower in her hair and stamping or sketching away. Look for her artwork in the future…
Diane, a stamping addict in the making. Very creative, Diane has appeared on Lakeside Stamper as a featured artist…
Janet, is our “Standing Stamper!” Janet is not only creative, but adds a perfect balance of compassion and fun to our gatherings…
Linda & Lisa, my cousins, who are both very, very creative. It must run in the family!
Linda, a fellow stamper in her own right. Linda teaches classes at the local libraries and you can visit her blog HERE.
Lisa & Alice are Aunt & Niece. Alice is giving Lisa advice on stamping. Remember Alice who loves the food? Lisa is ignoring Alice, because Lisa is a Stampin’ Up! demo, whose work is impeccable…
Lynette is a multi talented crafter and does it all. Lynette makes us all laugh and for that we’re all grateful. We just want to know how she keeps her manicure so beautiful????
Nancy last. but not least. Nancy is so dedicated to crafting and stamping it’s hard to believe. Nancy is another multi talented lady and was also a featured artist on Lakeside Stamper…
And, there you have it; a little look into some of the Lakeside Stamper Ladies. Check back for all the fabulous projects we made later this week.
Good-Night!
I’m holding a card -making and craft workshop for children. Years ago when I had a shop my children workshops were always filled. It was during those times the shop came alive with spirit, laughter and creative imaginations. Children always have a great time at my workshops, because they have the freedom to let their imaginations soar and balanced out with the proper guidance.

We had a great time at my World Card-Making Event on Saturday! All in all we made ten cards each using many stamp sets, colors, designer series paper and techniques. After I fed everyone, we had to eat for energy, we got to work. In the next few days I’ll post the cards we made.
Four “newbies” came to the event and I was thrilled to share what I know about card-making with even more potential stampers. Here are some pictures of the girls!.

World Card-Making Day. It is a holiday especially for card makers around the world.

people so, if you would like to spend a Saturday making cards and celebrating
your passion with the world please
RSVP as soon as possible at diane@lakesidestamper.com
The first ten of you signing up and who live locally will be the lucky attendees. So, if you live near-by let’s get together for what will be a fun time. If you live afar, look for other events in your area.
I also want to remind you to sign-up for my newsletter if you haven’t already. Beginning in September you will receive a FREE Monthly Newsletter featuring exclusive projects, templates, techniques and beginning on October 6, I will be featuring, “The 12 Weeks of Christmas.” A little bit early for thinking of the holidays you say? I say the earlier you begin hand-making those holiday cards and gifts for those special people in your life, the better.
Don’t forget if you want all of the above mentioned goodies just sign-up. And if I can answer any questions you might have about techniques or products don’t hesitate to contact me.

If you live in the Westchester County, New York area
Look for future details here.
Let’s get together to celebrate
These are the projects we are making at my Friday’s “Gift Giving Class.” We are making four wine charms, two wine gift tags, three gift card holders, a gingerbread ornament with a recipe for gingerbread cookies and a gingerbread house gift box. I will post the recipes over the weekend. See you then!
Here is a sampling of what we are making in Friday’s Ornament Card Making Class. As the title states, “Ornament Card Making“, I designed cards that the image can later be used as an ornament and this way all of your hard work doesn’t get thrown in the trash. I will post the directions next week after I have my class.
Thanks for stopping by.
