This butterfly wreath turned out to one of the classes favorite projects. I sometimes look to do other projects besides cards. While everyone loves to do cards it’s nice to have a “Home Decor” project that you can use in your home or as a gift for someone. Who wouldn’t love this hanging in their home or to receive it as a present? I got the grapevine wreaths at a local craft store.
This was quite simple to make with the help of the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and the Butterfly Punch. Shelli wasn’t kidding when she named this one! The butterflies are magnificent cut out of Stampin’ Up! Designer Paper. Any paper you use works beautifully with this die. We used a variety of papers at the class. Once butterflies were cut, selected and layered they were adhered using Glue Dots. With the Sweetheart Stem Embosslits Die I cut some Old Olive Card Stock and inserted the leaves where needed. I tied a hanger and made a bow out of Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon and voila a beautiful butterfly wreath just in time for Easter and Spring.
I hope you take time out to make some of these Butterfly Wreaths.
Thanks for looking!
HUGS & flutterbys,
