My daughter and son-in-laws Baby Shower was last week. Here’s the baby invitation I made plus a few pictures of the day.
I wanted the invitation to resemble a baby quilt. With all of the images in the Baby Bundle stamp set it was easy to achieve that look. I used Pool Party Card Stock and along one edge with the BIG Shot and the Finishing Touches Edgelets (pg190), I added an eyelet edge. On the 4″ x 5″ top layer of Whisper White Card Stock I punched out 1″ squares using the 1″ Square Punch on (pg183). I used the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (pg164) and Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper (pg163). I adhered all the squares as shown and in between the paper squares I stamp the many images from the Baby Bundle Stamp Set with Pool Party Ink.
Meg’s baby shower theme was elephants. On the inside of the invitation, along with the shower information, was this adorable elephant cut-out. Before you go bonkers-the die is not Stampin’ Up!, however, I did use my BIG Shot, Watercolor Pencils and Stampin’ Up! Card Stock to cut and color him. When I saw this die, I just had to have and use him on the invitation…
Below are a few pictures of the day.
Elephant Shower Favors which included and elephant cookie, an elephant cookie cutter and
