A Tisket, A Tasket. The Perfect Easter Basket

A Tisket, A Tasket

It was SO MUCH FUN making this Perfect Easter Basket. So much fun and so easy with Stampin’ Up!’s Berry Basket Die. Take your favorite Designer Series Paper, run it through your BIG Shot with Stampin’ Up!’s Berry Basket Die and you’ll have the perfect basket, not only for Easter but all year long. These would be great to make for a party favor, package for a small gift, summer picnic, Halloween and on your Thanksgiving or holiday table. The possibilities are endless!

Basket final 1

For this Perfect Basket, Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper was used along with Whisper White card stock. With Adhesive Sheets, the DSP and card stock was adhered together and then run through the BIG Shot with the Berry Basket Die.

On a separate piece of Whisper White card stock ink up and stamp the flowers from the Bloom With Hope stamp set in Momento Ink. Color them in using markers and or colored pencils and fussy cut each one out.

Stamp the sentiment from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in Basic Black Ink and punch it out with the Note Tag Punch. This is a great Tag Punch for that special sentiment that you want to tuck in. It’s not too BIG and not too small.

The butterfly was stamped in Marina Most Ink and cut out as well.

After playing around with placement, all the basket embellishments were affixed together.

Two bow were made from using the Bow Builder Punch. These were attached to each side of the basket below the handle.

Basket Labeled

The basket goes together nicely and pretty fast. It comes with the handle, as well as the scalloped edge parts.

Here’s hoping your ordered this Berry Basket Die and you can make a few of these before Sunday!

I would like to squeak in (ha, ha) another Easter/Passover/Spring project before then. We’ll see????

Thanks for stopping by and Spring today seems to be pushing Winter away. Although it did snow here yesterday!!
