❤ Welcome to the Lakeside Stamper’s, “With All My Heart” week. I hope you enjoy this week of projects and cards to make and share just in the nick of time for Valentine’s Day. So, let’s get started with project one; Love Shack Birdhouses. ❤
❤ These are unfinished wood birdhouses I picked up at Joanne’s for less then a dollar with a coupon. Can you believe it? When you’re out and about you should try to see where you can use and incorporate all the materials you have in your stash. ❤
❤ When you purchase your unfinished birdhouse match up some acrylic paint to the designer series paper you’re using. Paint any edges you’re not covering with the paper. These would be fabulous to make and celebrate Easter and Spring as well! ❤
❤ Once paint is dry make a template by placing tracing paper over the back, sides and roof of birdhouse. You can use a pencil to trace or with a scoring tool or stylus score the tracing paper along all the birdhouse edges. For the heart shape opening do the same and carefully cut out all pieces. You can glue the pattern pieces to scrap card board or laminate the pieces for future use. ❤
❤ Now use these pattern pieces to trace unto your designer series paper. Make sure to trace on the back of the designer paper you want to use, so no tracing lines show. Cut out all the birdhouse parts & with Sticky Tape or Multi-Purpose Glue adhere all the parts. ❤
❤ You can use anything for the embellishments. I used the new Stampin’ Up! Petite Petals with Real Red Ink. And, with the new Petite Petals Punch it was so easy to decorate this birdhouse. With the coordinating Petite Petals Punch it doesn’t matter how you stamp them, they are symmetrical so any side will punch perfectly! For the bird I used the Backyard Basics along with the Backyard Basics Framelits. Violia! ❤
Don’t forget to visit tomorrow for another, “With My Whole ❤ “ project!
Hugs ❤,
