Origami Shirt Birthday Card…

Hi, Stampers!

So many of you have asked for another Origami Shirt Card, so here goes. For this card I decided to make it a birthday card, but you can make it just in time for Father’s Day. I chose a plaid shirt, because plaid reminds me of my husband’s choice of shirts for the summer.

Card Directions:

Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ pice of Poppy Parade Card Stock and score it at 4-1/4″

Cut a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock

Cut a 3-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ of Designer Series Paper for the top portion and a 3-3/4″ x 1-1/4″ of another pattern of Designer Series Paper for the bottom portion. Both of these pieces are layered over the Whisper White

Origami Shirt Birthday Card Detail

I cut a simple tie shape as shown and made an origami shirt.Directions for the origami shirt are HERE  For my shirt I used the plaid sheet from the Pawsitively Prints II Designer Series Paper. I love this pack of paper and seem to use it a lot lately. Doesn’t red and blue look fabulous together?

On a 3″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Poppy Red Card Stock I stamped Happy Birthday from the Bring On the Cake Stamp Set in Versa Mark Ink and embossed it with White Embossing Powder.

I hope you enjoy making this origami shirt as much as I do. Play around with different patterns and colors. Instead of a tie, try a bow tie or buttons going up the front of the  shirt like I did in my first origami shirt. If you’d like to order the Pawsitively Prints II Paper click HERE

Thanks for stopping by,

Siggy 2
