Bordering Blooms Birthday Card How to:

1.   Cut an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow Card Stock and score it at 4-1/4″.

2.   Cut a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White Card Stock.

3.   On the piece of Whisper White Card Stock stamp the vine image from the Bordering Blooms Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Stamp the vine along the top and bottom of the Whisper White. The placement is so easy, because this stamp set is a photopolymer set. Photopolymer stamps are very sticky, stinky when new, takes dye ink and pigment ink equally well, stains easily (although that doesn’t affect the stamped images), firmer material  that tends to give cleaner impressions Acrylic (and other mystery materials): a bit less sticky, not stinky, works with pigment or versa ink but not dye ink, can stain too but not as readily as polymer, softer texture that is prone to spreading while being stamped I usually don’t like symmetrical stamping, but this is the way I started this card on the top and bottom.

4.   On the middle of the card, toward the right hand side stamp the “Warmest Wishes” greeting in Strawberry Slush Ink. This greeting is from the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set.

5.   On the left hand side of the card I made a bow using the Stitched Satin Mossy Meadow Ribbon. I wrapped a piece around the Whisper White card layer before adhering the Whisper White layer down.

6.   To complete the card and tie in the Strawberry Slush Ink, I punched Strawberry Slush flowers out using the Itty Bitty Accent Punch.   For each flower I punched two shapes and I layered and rotated them to look like flowers.

7.  In each flower center I placed a Basic Pearl.

Thanks for stopping by. Do so again real soon!

Blooming with Kindness: Birthday Card

Blooming with Kindness HeaderHi, Stampers & Crafters!

This Blooming With Kindness Birthday Card we made at one of my workshops. You can take the basic layout and make up the card in other colors. But, I have to tell you I love how the Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade look together. This stamp set is one of those “go to” stamp sets. I love the flower and greetings. The flowers can be colored, stamped in different colors or simply high-lighted like the ones on this card.Blooming with Kindness
