Just a quick post to share this adorable fork holder made from the Big Shot Pillow Box Die. I’ll be posting more designs in the future using this same idea. Maybe you can make a few of these for your Memorial Day and summer BBQ’s.
To make this holder, simply run your Pillow Box Die through your Big Shot using the Card Stock of choice. I used Poppy Parade.
Cut off one end of the Pillow Box on the score lines.
Place Sticky Strip on the side flap and adhere.
Fold bottom score lines to enclose.
Cut a 1′ x 4-1/4″ strip of Designer Series Paper to wrap around holder. You can also use a 1-1/2″ or 2″ strip. I used the Pawsitively Prints II Designer Series Paper.
For the center image I stamped two flowers from the new Hello Blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini. I used my Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz Markers.
Using the Wide Oval Punch, I punched the flowers out.
In the center of each flower I punched out a Tempting Turquoise circle and glued it with Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue. The blue really pops off the red and matches the napkins I’ve had forever in a kitchen drawer.
