Friday, November 25, was my cousin’s husband Ron’s birthday. This is the card I made for him. It’s pretty straight forward and I’m still in love with this Open Sea stamp set.
Card base is a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso.
A 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla was cut for the layer. I ran this throught the Big Shot with the Stripes Embossing Folder.
On a separate peices of Very Vanilla I stamped the map (love it!) in VersaMark and sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and melted it with a Heat Tool.
I cut the map out with my Circle Scissor Plus and mounted it on a 2-3/8″ Circle Punch out.
I stamped, “Happy Birthday” in Chocolate Chip Ink. I trimmed around it and layered it on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.
I layered the card together, but not before wrapping a piece of Chocolate Chip Scallop Dot Ribbon and bow around it.
