Happy 4th of July One & All…

I wanted to wish you all a very Happy & Safe 4th of July. I hope your weather is what we’re experiencing here in New York which is as close to perfect as perfect gets. Here are few more pictures I’d like to share with you. Enjoy!

This is a “Ruby-Throated Male Hummingbird” perched in one of our hemlocks. He and others come throughout the day to our hummingbird feeder. These little guys are hard to get a photograph of because they flap their wings 40-80 times a second and up to 200 per second during a courtship. No wonder they’re so small! I love it that John captured him comfortably perching.

I’m not a hummingbird expert but this I believe is a female “Ruby-Throated Hummingbird.” Email me or leave me a comment if you know for sure.

Make it a great day/weekend with family, friends and good eats!

Stampin’ Hugs,
