Welcome back Lakeside Stamper readers!
Today’s feature project is one we made awhile back at one of my classes. This is an old quilt pattern from the 1930’s or 40’s that I have. I did change it and added some extra pieces.
The directions are simple for this project.
Click on each image and print out this template on your home printer.
Glue the sheet, with the “Umbrella Girl Pattern Template“, onto a manila file folder, cut out the pieces and use them to trace on Designer Series Paper of your choice. Remember if you’re not tracing on the side of paper you want to show, flip the Umbrella Girl parts, trace and then use the front. If you don’t flip the pieces when tracing on the back she will be reversed, which is fine, but just thought you should know.
This sheet labeled, “Umbrella Girl Guide” is exactly that. It’s to guide you where to adhere all the pieces.
To adhere all the pieces you can use Tombow All-Purpose Glue or your SNAIL Adhesive. Use which ever one you find is easier and cleaner. I still have schmutz on mine that needs cleaning with my pick up eraser.
Here’s what the Lakeside Stampers Class created:
I really think these came out great and shows off everyone’s personality. I love classes when I can offer the class a chance to make the project their own as they did here. I love my Lakeside Stampin’ Ladies! EMAIL ME with any questions.
