This is another invitation I did for my niece Alyssa’s Sweet 16. For her party she is doing a Shakespearean theme and wanted a rose, scroll and quote.
I stamped on Glossy White Card Stock the rose from the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set in Versa Mark and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. Using my Aqua Painter, Real Red Ink and Watercolor Pencils, I hand colored the rose. I then cut it out and adhered it using a few Dimensionals. The scroll and type were computer generated and printed out on parchment paper. I tore each scroll to really exaggerate a rough edge. The card itself was out of an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Real Red Card Stock scored at 4 1/4″. I layered a 5 x 3 3/4″ piece of Pretty in Pink Card Stock over the Real Red and the rest of the embellishments as shown.
